Philosophy & Approach.

It’s easy to believe a child is simply stubborn, inflexible, difficult or maybe even rigid. We might say, “It’s just a phase,” “They’re tired,” “It must be the aftermath of the pandemic” and/or “They’ll catch up.” These statements are likely true AND also there may be more we can do.

I believe that all children truly want to do their best and that no child wants to fail. So, why aren’t they? Well, not all children know how to do their best and unfortunately it’s not always as simple as just telling them what to do.

When a child acts stubborn, inflexible, angry and throws tantrums they may be asking for help and need a different kind of scaffolding in place in order to succeed. This is not uncommon and if your child is struggling - big or small - let’s help the “right” way.

To access this success, there are support mechanisms and tools that we as parents can offer to make a world of difference. My mission and my hope is to help parents shine a light on their children’s successes and provide information, tools and skills to help manage the harder parts.

I passionately believe that every family is unique and one size does not fit all. I want to help find the approach and skills that work for each family individually.
